7 Incredible Gated, Luxury Real Estate Communities in Park City

Park City, Utah is a playground for mountain lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The active and luxurious lifestyle is what so many Parkites desire. The gated communities surrounding Park City provide an abundance of choices to live the Park City dream, with an added feature of privacy and luxury that gated communities offer. Here is a list of those communities and a sampling of what they provide:

Promontory

Promontory boasts dozens of activities and amenities for the whole family. This is proven with the 12 clubhouses available to its members. There are two golf courses, the Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye courses. Both have been voted as the 2021 #6 and #7 best courses in Utah by Golf Digest.

There are many options for buying or building in Promontory. Various build-able lots are available for custom homes, or you can purchase a “cabin” property on a smaller lot, if you are lucky to snatch one up before it hits the market. Insider tip: be sure to look for a property with a full golf course membership that can be conveyed with the sale. Not all lots and homes have memberships included or even for purchase. Promontory Golf Club

Glenwild

Glenwild is conveniently located 7 minutes off highway 80 and near Kimball Junction yet balances the feeling of privacy and intimacy. Glenwild hosts the #1 ranked golf course in Utah, designed by Tom Fazio. Sitting high up in the northern part of the Park City with winding hiking trails, you may never want to leave.

With only 195 homesites, Glenwild is a smaller and more intimate community than many of the gated neighborhoods in Park City. Homes for sale range from $4.95 million to $9.3 million and above. As of this post date, there are two lots left, both priced just under $1million.

Tuhaye

Tuhaye is located a handful of miles east of Park City off of State Road 248. The Colony

The Preserve gated community borders Glenwild to the north. Lots range in size of 10 acres to 65 acres with only 88 total lots, making this a very private, secluded community despite being minutes from Park City. The Preserve takes pride in it’s open space, and natural beauty with some home sites zoned for equestrian use.

The Preserve sits on 1,700 acres with panoramic vista views of the Wasatch Back. There is an extensive trail system in The Preserve of over 11 miles for it’s residents to enjoy hiking with their dogs, biking, horseback riding or snowshoeing. The Preserve trails are interconnected to public trails as well. Homesites generally start just under $1million while the custom single family properties start at $7.8 million.

Deer Crest Estates

The Deer Crest neighborhood in Deer Valley® is impeccable, private and exclusive. The gorgeously designed homes have direct ski-in/ski-out access and the Deercrest Club provides access to amenities at St. Regis in Deer Valley®.

Properties range from 5,500 square feet to over 10,000 square feet. There are fantastic views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and surrounding mountains.

Victory Ranch
